Hey There
Hello! I'm Hely Kansara, a psychologist practicing in India. Growing up, although I had no interest in becoming a psychologist or a doctor, I had a never ending curiosity to explore the ins and outs of human existence. I delved into literature concerning history, philosophy, arts, existentialism, psyche, culture, and the science of what led hu(man) to become mankind!
These formative experiences instilled in me strong values of empathy, curiosity, resilience, justice, equity, and a deep inclination towards humanities. At 16, when I saw the lack of awareness and sensitisation towards mental health in our society, I made the decision to dedicate my life towards making mental health care a priority for everyone. Thus began my decade long journey to train myself by receiving formal education and engaging in continuous learning in the field of psychology and mental health. With years of experience under my belt, here I am now to offer the product of my academic and life's (so far) learning in the form of my hybrid (online and offline) private practice.
